Lord Mayor's Charitable Committee Mothers Day Brunch
We were entertained by Claire's moving, and often humorous experiences in coping with her mother's illness, and then her own breast cancer journey. A very inspiring speaker.
Laughter is guaranteed when born storyteller, Claire Laishley regales her audience with tales from her life. With honesty and a gift to find humour in every situation, Claire is the perfect guest speaker for any occasion.
Claire Laishley's first hand accounts of life and its trials and tribulations are presented with honesty, feeling and humour! Her writing is at once familiar, insightful and entertaining. It was great to have Claire visit the Port Lincoln Library and share her work, bringing to life her personal experience.
What a delight to have a local author who was so open, honest and humorous when dealing with sensitive issues. If you get the opportunity make sure you attend one of Claire's talks.
It was a great night. Claire was informative, passionate, insightful, entertaining and a 'library treasure'. I would like to continue to help promote her stories.
Some of the audience feedback:

We were very excited to have author Claire Laishley come to our bookshop.
She spoke to an audience of about 35 people gathered to listen to her talk about her four books including her latest release "Delores D'Lump".
We were thoroughly entertained with her wonderful amusing tales of how she came to write each of her books and will welcome her again any time.
Thank you Claire!Louise Allstrom
